Guiding Butterfly Integrative Internal Medicine and Wellness™ is a relationship-centered, physician-led, direct primary care practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico dedicated to offering integrative approaches to health, healing, and wellness for adults age 18 and over.
We believe meaningful healthcare begins by treating the whole person—not simply a diagnosis or a collection of symptoms. Our practice integrates conventional internal medicine with evidence-based integrative therapies while considering the physical, emotional, behavioral, and lifestyle factors that influence health. Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a healthcare model that focuses on a direct relationship between you and your physician—without insurance in the middle.
Instead of billing insurance for each visit, patients pay a simple membership fee. This fee covers most routine primary care services, allowing your physician to spend more time with you and focus on prevention, chronic care, and overall wellness.

There are no copays or deductibles for covered services
Direct Primary Care is not insurance. We recommend patients maintain health insurance for services outside primary care, such as medications, imaging, specialist visits, and hospital care.
